In use youll appreciate the low weight, especially when pushing your casting range to the limit. The lightness enables you to generate faster rod speeds, which combined with other long range technology including Rigid Cast, leads to consistently longer casts.
Inside the lightweight CI4+ G FREE body is a combination of HAGANE Gear, X-SHIP, INFINITY DRIVE and SILENT DRIVE which work together to produce smooth, powerful rotation, even under extreme pressure and heavy loads. Long range casting is enhanced with some of Shimanos leading technology including Super Slow 5 Oscillation, Parallel Body and Rigid Cast which combine to generate increased distance and supreme accuracy.
