The Undertaker underspin has been a project designed by MLF Bass Pro Tour Pro Roy Hawk and Precision Tackle.
Many underspins available catch fish but are limited in several aspects. They are not able to contact cover without issues. Also, most underspins ride nose down, tail up(not very natural) and tends to hang up when contacting cover. We have eliminated these problems with the Undertaker.
Precision Tackle has designed the ultimate underspin! Countless hours have been spent developing an underspin that swims horizontally through the water(like a real fish). The line tie is located on the nose and has a brush guard to protect the hook point. This allows it to contact and come through aquatic vegetation, brush, rock, etc. without problems. The titanium arm extends to the rear of the lure and is keel weighted with tungsten. This also assists sliding through cover. When a fish inhales the Undertaker, the brush guard and arm compress easily to provide a solid hook up.
Built on a Mustad Ultrapoint hook, The Undertaker will withstand the abuse from hooking and landing many fish. Designed to fish on a slow to moderate retrieve, swim the Undertaker in open water, brush or fish it slowly on the bottom. Available in 3/16, 1/4 and 5/16 oz.
3/16 and 1/4 oz. are built on a Mustad 3/0 hook(small 3/0 by comparison).
5/16 are built on a Mustad 4/0 hook(small 4/0 by comparison).
