If you’re looking for a popping rod that has that fast heavy action to ensure the rod is up for the task against giants, but also bends moderately under load, look no further. For those who have used Jigging World’s Ghost Hunter Popping Rods in the past, think of it as as a similar rod but with a more moderate bend throughout the entire blank. The Medium and Medium Heavy models are for your smaller class size Tuna but also can be used as a heavy plug boat rod for Striped Bass. The Heavy and Extra Heavy models are more for your offshore beasts. These rods are 2 piece with a 70/30 split. They look like a 1 piece rod with the hood on top of the butt section that hides the exposure found on most 2 piece rods.
