Designed in collaboration with Ralph Craft of Crafty One Customs in Portsmouth, RI, the AMF series incorporates expert craftsmanship and innovation. The name “AMF,” derived from “Alpha Mike Foxtrot,” symbolizes the rod’s dependability in securing big fish, as reflected in the Tuna in the Crosshair logo. The JW-AMF-J450C, like all conventional models in the AMF lineup, features spiral-wrapped guides to improve line control and minimize torque during intense battles with powerful fish.
The JW-AMF-J450C is a conventional jigging rod measuring 5’6″ in length, rated for 65-100 lb line, and designed for jigs weighing 5 to 8 ounces. It features FUJI BCKWAG guides for smooth line management, a FUJI PLS graphite reel seat with a double-locking mechanism for secure reel placement, and premium EVA grips for comfort and control. The rubber gimbal enhances stability during prolonged fights, while the one-piece construction ensures maximum durability and performance in offshore jigging applications.
