The AMF series offers a unique moderate bend under load, which helps reduce angler fatigue while still delivering the backbone necessary to handle trophy fish. This combination makes the rod highly effective for both long fights and lighter-class fish, ensuring a more enjoyable jigging experience.
The AMF series is the result of a collaboration between Jigging World and Ralph Craft of Crafty One Customs in Portsmouth, RI. Crafty One Customs has been instrumental in developing these rods, bringing years of expertise in custom rod building. The AMF name, derived from “Alpha Mike Foxtrot,” reflects the rods reliability in landing big fish, symbolized by the Tuna in the Crosshair logo. Every component of the AMF rods is selected to enhance performance, ensuring anglers can confidently battle large-class fish from hookset to landing.
The JW-AMF-J350C is a conventional jigging rod measuring 5’8″ in length, rated for 50-80 lb line, and capable of handling jigs ranging from 3 to 6 ounces. It features FUJI BCKWAG guides for smooth line flow, a FUJI PLS graphite reel seat with a double-locking mechanism for secure reel placement, and premium EVA grips for maximum comfort. The rubber gimbal provides additional stability when fighting large fish, while the one-piece construction enhances overall strength. Spiral-wrapped guides are used on all conventional models, including the JW-AMF-J350C, to improve line control and minimize torque during intense battles.
