With the Certate SW, DAIWA offers an extremely durable saltwater reel for demanding fishing in the tropics and for halibut in Norway. Thanks to the MQ construction, the drive wheel can be made up to 40% larger than usual in normal rollers of this size – this significantly increases power transmission and service life. The design of larger teeth in the drive wheel further improves the service life of the gear and the MQ construction offers optimal, torsion-proof mounting of the gear in the roller body. The special painting process prevents corrosion under the paint layer. The ATD braking system in conjunction with the high-quality carbon fiber brake discs ensure optimal release of the line under load without high initial resistance and a long service life even during frequent extreme drills – ideal for medium-sized tuna, doggies and GT!
