Each hook is constructed of BKK’s hyper carbon steel, 25% stronger and 30% stronger than the traditional hook wire, allowing BKK to utilize a much thinner wire gauge that penetrates quickly and easily with a reel set or slight sweep of the rod tip. BKK’s sleek Super Slide finish and extra-sharp needlepoint further refines the hook, mitigating any bit of inherit friction with the hookset for effortless penetration. A cold forged shank improves overall strength, durability, and ability to resist flex under load, while an elongated point improves overall fish retention. Just below the eyelet of the hook is its fluorocarbon bait keeper, providing great holding power to the nose of your soft plastic worm, fluke, or other softbait, while minimizing tearing to your bait and overall appearance.
