Avet Reels proudly produces aluminum lever drag reels right here in the USA. These reels are known for their usage on the west coast for casting on Long Range style fishing trips. Here in the Northeast, we like to use the LX 6/3 as a jigging reel for tunas, and other hard-fighting species. It is essentially a wider version of the JX, allowing for additional line capacity. Due to the size and line capacity of these reels, they are also a good choice for deep water “inshore” groundfish applications like cod, as well as tilefish.NOTE: Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks time for processing your order on these reels in colors besides silver and black.
