Equipped with a 42mm oversized hardened machine-cut brass main gear, the Hakai DT provides the power needed to handle larger fish, while ensuring a smooth retrieve. The reels drag system is a multi-disc hybrid made of stainless steel and carbon, offering up to 20 lbs of drag pressure for consistent and reliable stopping power. The patented fliteshaft hollow stainless steel main shaft, along with the super tuner flitespool developed by Dream Tackle Design, contributes to the reels lightweight design, offering effortless casting and improved performance.
The Hakai DT also features a universal line diameter indicator, allowing anglers to easily keep track of the line type and size in use. The external adjustable magnetic cast control system provides easy tuning to adjust for wind conditions, lure weight, and user preference, reducing backlash and improving casting accuracy. The star drag, made from precision C-40x carbon injection, provides fine drag adjustments for optimal control during fish battles.
