Strands of the material can be twisted together to form tight, strong bodies for trout flies such as caddis and midge larva, pupae, and nymph patterns. Works great as a substitute for bucktail in streamers of all types. This is a great long fiber for tying Bunker patterns like synthetic versions of the “Sedotti Slammer” by Mark Sedotti, and other large profile saltwater baitfish flies.
