Personalized Fishing Trips

Galway Bay Fishing caters to the requests and experience levels of its customers. No two fishing trips are the same. Typically, trips involve sailing out to the Aran Islands, fishing along the way, and taking time to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. There is even an option to take a break on the islands for a hearty lunch and a pint before returning to the open seas. Alternatively, trips can include sailing by the Cliffs of Moher, where stunning views await. Whatever the preference, Galway Bay Fishing has it covered.

Post-Fishing Experience

Upon returning to the harbor, participants are invited to a local restaurant where a highly skilled chef will cook their catch just the way they like it.

Conservation Practices

Galway Bay Fishing is passionate about conservation practices. Any fish not planned for eating is returned to the ocean, after a few photos, of course.

Experienced Skipper and Comprehensive Equipment

Kevin MacGabhann, an experienced and fully qualified skipper, shows participants where the best fishing spots are and assists in catching desired fish. All necessary equipment, such as rods and tackle, is available on board for a small rent fee. The Maighdean Mara also has tea and coffee facilities, as well as options for making sushi or having a barbecue on the boat. A packed lunch can also be arranged if desired.

Trip Options

Galway Bay Fishing offers both full-day trips and evening trip options. Participants can join one of the group fishing trips or charter the boat for a private fishing trip.
