The 17′ Ballistic LT is based on the new LT concept (Light & Tough) from DAIWA. The new LT reels are significantly lighter and at the same time have greater retrieving power than the previous models. The dimensions of the reel bodies are reduced and the retrieval force is even improved thanks to the new gear design. The torsion-resistant Zaion roller body ensures secure storage of the gear and contributes to the low roller weight. The ATD braking system immediately ensures consistent braking force without starting resistance. The CNC milled aluminum crank is screwed tightly and sits on the drive wheel without any play.
The MagSealed mechanism prevents water from entering through the axle – ideal for sea fishing! The milled Tough Diggigear gear ensures optimal retrieval power and lasting resilience. The braking power has been further increased by the new design – the 2500/3000 size offers a maximum braking force of 10kg, the 4000/6000 models 12kg and the smaller models 5kg. The size 6000 comes with a power handle crank knob, which is very comfortable to hold, especially under heavy loads – ideal for light pirking or feeding.
